Delete Your Account

Applies to Aksharamaala and other Pragya Apps products.

You can request deletion of your account and the data associated with it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@pragya.app from the email address associated with your account, and let us know you'd like your account deleted. If you signed up with Google or Apple sign-in, please mention that in your request so we can locate the right account.

What gets deleted

Your account information — email address and name
Your subscription status and selected language
Synced quiz and exercise progress associated with your account (balloons, quiz stars, unlocked levels, streaks, category scores)

We process deletion requests within a reasonable period after we can verify the request, except where retention of some information is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Data that's already only on your device

A child's local learning profile — name, avatar, and daily streak — is stored only on the device it was created on and is never sent to us, so there's nothing on our servers to delete for that information. Removing the app, or removing the profile within the app, clears it from the device directly.
